Obverse
Brilliantly coloured, the dragon on the coin almost seems to jump out at the holder of the coin. Below the image of the dragon is the Chinese character “龍” for "Dragon" followed by the English word "DRAGON" and the year "2024." To the right of the Chinese character there is “P125” which commemorates the 125th anniversary of The Perth Mint.
Reverse
The reverse of the coin has a portrait of the late HM Queen Elizabeth II created by British engraver Jody Clark of The Royal Mint. Jody Clark’s initials are located on the left shoulder of the Queen. Encircling the portrait, reads "ELIZABETH II, 1952-2022," marking the span of her reign. Also included, "AUSTRALIA" "1 oz 9999 Ag" and the coin’s denomination of "1 DOLLAR"
